AFG: Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department Receives Funding

M0re than $150,000 dollars has been distributed to fire departments in Cleveland County, and an additional $167,789 is on its way.

The Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department will join Kings Mountain Fire Department and Fallston Community Volunteer Fire Department as departments across the state who have received funding from the Department of Homeland Security's Assistance to Firefighters Grants.

Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department is one of eight North Carolina fire departments receiving funding in this round of assistance.

Kings Mountain Fire Department received more than $96,000 in January and a month later Fallston Community Volunteer Fire Department received more than $60,000.
